UW Compressive Strength

The material's compressive strength was tested according to ASTM D1074 Standard

Sheridan Water Research

Testing of the permeable paver profile shows that it does not introduce harmful contaminants into water, confirming its environmental safety. However, it does not significantly reduce soluble ions like sodium and chloride. These results highlight the system’s effectiveness in general filtration while identifying areas for improvement when targeting specific ionic pollutants.

Life Cycle Cost Analysis - Full Report

The LCCA carried out in this assignment concluded that Stormflow is comparable in cost to impermeable concrete pavement, which does not provide infiltrationof rainfall andless than PICP, over a 40-year analysis period. The observed performance and LCCA results of Stormflow demonstratethe suitability of its use in comparison to other permeable pavement and LID alternative

Infiltration Study - Full Report

All sites (5 studied) have all maintained infiltration since construction without any maintenanceefforts being implemented to restore permeability. Apart from Site 3, the infiltration throughout all the sites exceeded the rainfall intensity of 292.5 mm/hr expected for a 100-year storm that is 5 minutes in duration. At Site 3 more than half the test locations had an infiltration rate that exceeded the maximum rainfall intensity of 292.5 mm/hr (5 min duration, 100-year storm). The maximum infiltration rates demonstratethe anticipated performance of Stormflow during rain eventshaving high intensity and short duration
